People have different thinking methods. These ways of thinking are related to different factors, and two of them which are linked into our discussion are age, and the family circumstances especially during children growing up. At least some of our parents have grown up in a more traditional family than us, with different norms and in different conditions, so it’s reliable if they think different. Here is the point that the generation gap appears. But this gap is not a serious problem –which has effective influence on the life- in some families, like mine.  

For example, most of our hobbies are related to new technologies such as computer games and developed instruments but most of them are worthless for parents! Imagine you are playing a computer game, then your mother come and say: “what are the benefits of this kind of games? Do something better! “. It was just a little example of differences, as you know, there is more and more.

In my opinion, one other thing that may make conflict is this: some parents expect their child to be as same as themselves, but maybe the child refuses it.

To overcome this problem, we must be less egotistic and try to perceive others. Being moderate and less intemperate at conflict points , may solve (or maybe just fade!) this problem.
